Zahidi dates are classified as dry dates. In some areas, it is known as semi-dry varieties, in some parts of the country it has been named as Ghasab.

The shape of Zahidi dates is oval and its end is quite thin and sharp.

The fruit is yellow in the unripe stage, and light brown in fresh date stage,

and in the stage of date, it is brown nearly red to light yellow
